I had the same problem while my tour with my family to hunza with #trekkers. They don't even bother to replace the bus and torture us with that broken bus. While travelling to babusar top after the moon hotel, the police approached us to drive fast because this area wasn't safe. We complained to them, marked the poor rating but they blocked me on fb instead of taking any positive action

I’m sharing my experience so others don’t waste their money, time, and energy like we did.
We joined a tour with Backpack Adventure expecting a well-managed, memorable trip — but it turned into a nightmare right from the beginning. After just a short distance, their bus suddenly “broke down.” The excuse? “Computer malfunction.” Conveniently, they replaced it with an old, broken, and extremely uncomfortable bus. Turns out, they pull this same stunt on almost every tour — pretending the bus is faulty just to downgrade you without any refund or explanation. Total scam!
Things got worse in Chillas. Instead of the promised hotel, we were forced to stay in a filthy, third-class lodge with no proper bedding, terrible hygiene, and no decent breakfast. Every hotel they “arranged” was worse than the last — far below the standard they committed to. Not a single promised or even similar hotel was provided.
As for food — it was unhygienic and disgusting. Hair and flies in the food, and we were taken to random roadside places for breakfast. We were shocked!
They didn’t even cover all the spots listed in the itinerary. Many important destinations were simply skipped — without apology or explanation.
And the tour guide? Absolutely rude and unprofessional. On top of that, he was clearly taking commission from everywhere — jeeps, food stops, vehicles — wherever we went, he was cutting deals for himself at the cost of our experience.
In short:

❌ False promises
❌ Dirty hotels
❌ Unhygienic food
❌ Rude guide
❌ Skipped spots
❌ Hidden commissions everywhere
Backpack Adventure is NOT a tour company — it’s a trap. A scam disguised as travel. Save yourself the pain. Do NOT book with them.

They are a big scammer. In ke sath trip krke sirf pesa zaya nhi hoga.. ye apki jaan ko khatray me daal k bhaag jaynge. Inka tour leader shayan or saif, tour lead se ziada pesa wasooli ka kam krte hn. pehle to customer service nam ki koi cheez nhi h. 1lac complains hain, First they dont separate families and single men, they put us in a coaster while a grand cabin was promised, they keep on missing all the mentioned points in their itenarary and we spent all the time only in the vehicle. The hotels they provided were shitty. Thier tour leader threatened us, they were drunk and high throughout the trip.
And whenever we complain abt anything they threaten us. So please be aware they are working under different names too. there were people who booked different itenarary but they were all sent in the same bus.
Worst thing the tour leader did is, that he left with the coaster and driver without notifying us, we woke up and he was gone. He threatened 3 girls in the trip and he has the audacity to say this in front of all , k ab inko dekho m kesa sabaq sikhata hu. I have a whole list and story of how these people ruined our trip and experience. I am attaching here a picture of the tour leader, so whenever u join any trip and u see him, please save yourself and quit immediately.
