Unprofessional behaviour

Hi everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience with #TravelwithZahra(TWZ) and caution others considering their tours. Unfortunately, I found the trip to Hunza and Fairy Meadows to be quite disappointing. The lead tour operator, Zahra, did not meet expectations in terms of professionalism or customer care. Despite the tour being advertised as family-friendly and suitable for solo female travelers, the behavior of some participants was quite inappropriate. There were instances of open use of MANSHIYAAT and the use of offensive language. When we raised our concerns with Zahra, she dismissed them, suggesting that we should ignore the behavior for the sake of enjoyment. On multiple occasions, our safety felt compromised, and we were subjected to harassment. I wanted to share this to ensure that others are aware of these issues before making their travel plans. Some of the highlights from this trip are: Unprofessional behaviour: During our stay in Chilas, Zahra had a confrontational outburst with a client, using abusive language in front of families. This behavior continued after the Fairy Meadows trek, when she again had a similar altercation on the bus to Hunza. Such treatment of clients was both surprising and disappointing, and significantly marred the experience.
Neglected Medical Emergencies: Upon reaching FairyMeadows, a lady suffered an angina attack. A nearby British doctor provided CPR and requested a room, but Zahra had instructed not to open any rooms. People had to shout for three minutes before management finally opened the room.
Disorganized Itinerary: The next day, we were supposed to go to Nanga Parbat base camp but started late, missing the chance to reach it. The trek was poorly managed, with participants going solo or joining other groups. There were no explanations about the mountains or cultural insights from the guide.

Hello everyone,
I hope this message finds you well. I felt it was important to share my experience with #TravelwithZahra after seeing some negative comments circulating online about a recent tour. As someone who participated in the same tour from July 19-24, 2024, I want to set the record straight and provide a more accurate picture of our journey.
From the outset, Zahra and her team displayed incredible organization and professionalism. Our group consisted of a mix of travelers, including couples, families, solo female adventurers, and friends. Everyone was welcomed warmly and treated as part of one big family. Zahra made it a point to create a safe, enjoyable atmosphere throughout the trip.
The itinerary was thoughtfully planned. We embarked on a beautiful journey that took us from Lahore to Islamabad, then onward to Balakot for a delightful breakfast before heading to Chilas for an overnight stay. Each segment of the trip was well-timed, allowing us to fully enjoy the breathtaking landscapes. At each stop, we shared laughter, stories, and experiences, enhancing our bond as travelers.
Throughout our time at Fairy Meadows, I can personally vouch for Zahra’s dedication to our safety and well-being. She constantly checked in with everyone, ensuring that no one was left behind during the trek—a true testament to her commitment to customer care. The Jeep track to Fairy Meadows was an exhilarating experience, and Zahra ensured all participants felt supported, no matter their pace. Zahra’s attention to detail contributed to a positive atmosphere, where everyone felt included and valued.
The accommodations at the Broad View Hotel were top-notch, comfortable, and provided stunning views of the mountains. We enjoyed hearty meals and had plenty of opportunities to relax and recharge after our adventurous days.
