North Face Adventure

Last month we as a family had the chance to visit Northern Areas of Pakistan. It was a week long trip organized by North Face Adventure.
It turned out to be a dream come true. Despite visiting many touristic parts of the world such as Sweden, Norway and Switzerland, I feel it was the best experience we ever had. Land surrounded by Sakardu and Hunza Valley is one of the best touristic resorts in the world. Here you get the chance to see the nature so closely that you become part of it.
This land is blessed with so many bounties of nature which are not available elsewhere. The Union of three world greatest mountain ranges ie Himalaya, Hindukush and Karakoram is a site to watch. It is delight to see some of the highest peaks in the world such as K-2 , Nanga Parbat and Rakaposhi, a dream for rock climbers. Every inch of this blessed land serves as a resort by itself, surrounded by towering snow covered peaks, glaciated water falls , running rivers ultimately joining then mighty Indus, gigantic blue water lakes, orchards of best cherries, apricots, walnuts and apples. Best possible honey available in abundance, nests of mineral water springs available on roadside. Climate pleasantly cold with two layers of woolies suffice to keep you comfortable. It was pleasant to sit in sunshine mostly. There is a net network of schools and colleges even in remotest area with almost ninety percent education. It is a crime free society, with friendly and honest hardworking population. Mountains are blessed with rear earth minerals, which are in great demand these days internationally. KKH road is living example of deep China Pakistan Friendship. It is nothing short of a miracle to make such a road in most hazardous terrain. Though it’s maintenance stay as a constant challenge but they are doing it regularly.
Now about our organizer North Face Adventure who was solely responsible to make this trip a memorable one . They had provided us with the best possible hotels and the best possible transport with an excellent driver. He stayed with us all through. The management, made very interesting itinerary for every day, which was known to us and our driver beforehand. They kept us game fully busy on daily basis. Suddenly when our departure flight was canceled, the management immediately rescued us and sent us to one of the best resort, named Khoj, located of the bank of Indus River , with snow covered peaks all around, about 90 minutes drive from Sakardu Airport. That turned out to the best stay of our entire stay. The management stayed in touch with us all through our stay and we always felt that we are in safe hands. We will strongly recommend this management to anyone, if you want to a have hassle free trip of Northern Areas.
