My experience in Neelum Valley was breathtaking! The natural beauty of the valley, warm hospitality of the locals, and stunning scenery left a lasting impression. I stayed at Vellage Walk Guest House in Keran, which was cozy and comfortable. The local food was delicious, especially the trout fish. Overall, it was a perfect blend of nature, culture, and relaxation."

Drive from muzaffarabad to teetwal. On the way we passed a couple of natural waterfalls.
Views were amazing.
Roads were good in most places, however the region is prone to continous land slides so progress is slowed down.
A journey which should take no more than an hour, will end up taking you 2 hrs because of road conditions.

Neelum Valley, Kashmir, is a captivating paradise at 4,000–7,500 ft elevation, stretching around 200 km from Muzaffarabad (about 100 km away) and nearly 250 km from Islamabad. This valley is adorned with lush pine forests, mesmerizing waterfalls, and the ever-charming Neelum River winding alongside snowcapped mountains. From Kale Sector to Sharda Valley and further onwards to Taobutt, every turn unfolds a postcard view filled with serenity and charm. In earlier days, the roads beyond Muzaffarabad were rough and challenging, though recent developments may have improved accessibility. Despite the journey, the reward is unmatched—serene landscapes, fresh mountain air, and untouched natural beauty that leave all hustle and bustle behind. Autumn colors, snowy winters, and summer blossoms make Neelum Valley an all-season wonder. For travelers, photographers, and adventurers, it is a must-visit gem of Azad Kashmir, offering timeless beauty that redefines peace and wanderlust in Pakistan’s northern valleys.
