I had been planning to visit Northern Pakistan for a couple of years, but yet I was about to cancel it because of the changes in the geopolitical situation during the last couple of months. As a typical European I was very concern about safety and security on the way to Pakistan and during my stay there. Now I´m really happy I decided to take the tour anyway.
I have just returned home from a 17-day private solo tour from Islamabad along Karakorum Highway to Hunza Valley, the Khunjerab Pass at the Chinese border and also Skardu Valley, before ending the tour in Islamabad. With its stunning natural beauty, rich history, and renowned hospitality, Northern Pakistan is a truly amazing and unique destination, even for seasoned travelers.
Imran is a great driver. The roads were challenging because of the rains, landslides and road works, the car had a minor issue and the numerous police control posts slowed down the journey, but he was cool and took us safely to all the destinations. Imran’s professionalism made all the difference. He is also a genuinely empathetic, respectful, and thoughtful person who prioritize the well-being of others with sincerity.
While the long driving days were challenging for the driver and car, the guide's biggest task was answering my endless questions about everything under the sun. Abbas did a great job. He knows his country, and a lot more. We never run out of topics to talk about. He is a person of great integrity. He has such a charming personality, a sense of humour, and a heart of gold.
I had the pleasure to meet and spend some time also with Manzoor, the owner of Hunza Trek & Tours, his family and the other guides.
What distinguishes a nice trip from a great trip are the people you meet along the way. These people have a place in my heart forever.

From the very first hello to the final goodbye, the entire experience was seamless and expertly organized. The itinerary, which included the majestic Hunza Valley, the enchanting Fairy Meadows, and the dramatic Passu Cones, was perfectly paced, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the stunning landscapes and rich local culture.
A huge part of what made this trip so special was our fantastic team. Our guide, Farhan, was exceptional. His knowledge of the region's history, culture, and geography was impressive, and his passion for his homeland was truly infectious. Our driver, Imran, deserves equal praise. Navigating those mountainous roads requires immense skill and concentration, and Imran was the epitome of a professional. We always felt completely safe and in capable hands. The camaraderie between Farhan and Imran was evident, and they worked together seamlessly to ensure our comfort and enjoyment every step of the way.
A particular highlight was the evening we were invited into the home of Mansoor for a traditional dinner. This wasn't just a meal; it was a genuine cultural immersion and a heartwarming experience of legendary Hunza hospitality. The food was delicious, and the conversation was even better. Despite unexpected challenges like road closures, lost luggage, traffic delays, and even a landslide, the team handled everything with calm professionalism and genuine care. They even lent us jackets and shoes when we needed them!

Awesome trip organized by Hunza Trek! great support and planning! reliable and helpful! flight to Skardu was cancelled by the airline and Mansour stepped in right away to get a driver to take me from Islamabad to Hunza! the team was superb Askari, Farhan, Sultan, Sajid and Ijlal! an adventure all the way! i had the best experience with the gorgeous mountain view in hunza.
Manzoor did good arrangement with all the proces including visa and everthing. Thanks again to Mr imran our professional driver and Mr Farhan professional tour guide.
We had amazing moments every day especially eating authentic organic food in Hunza, the berianis, pakoras, chais, tandoori breads. My goodness.. all are delicious.
Mr imran did great job driving along the way and so calm handling with many situations, security checkpoint and all the progress move smoothly in my 13 days trips
and Mr farhan gave a lot of informations and knowledges about the history,culture, nature and all the good tourism potentials in Pakistan
They helped me a lot during this trips. i felt i just travelled in Hunza in 2 days even it was 13 days because all the majistic mindblowing mountains.

The view of Northern Pakistan is amazing. When I told everyone I am going to Pakistan, everyone was shocked, after everyone saw my picture in SNS, now everyone is asking how to go. I of course recommend Hunza trek and tour.
As the company is not very known well in Thailand, I was a bit reluctant first but Manzoor was very patient and answered email promptly, provided everything we need, for VISA, inquiries and everything until you settle down, I believed he is the most patient Pakistan tour company!
The trip was as you can expected, sometimes no electricity, limited hot bath, almost to none signals internet. But hey, why would you need it when you are seeing the breathtaking view of this hidden gems.
We are lucky the domestic flight was not canceled and we got almost clear weather everyday. if you can arrange private tour, it will be easy for you to tailor and modify your plan according to weather. Ask Manzoor, he can arrange you anything.
What are you waiting for? Just email him and pack a bag and nice pair of walking shoes and camera and go to Pakistan!

I really enjoyed my trip to Pakistan. Hunza Trek and Tours did an excellent job helping with the visa, on the tour and helping to meet and get to know the locals. The owner went over and above on helping out with any problems, he was very kind and professional. It was a fun tour, and I enjoyed getting to see the beautiful scenery, and meeting all the amazing people. I recommend these tours if you want an excellent vacation, Mr Manzoor is a very kind and considerate tour guide.
